Situated on the ground floor of the original granite cottage, the cozy Parlour Apartment has been furnished to a high standard and offers easy access to the south facing gardens.
The entrance door leads into an open plan kitchen / dining / lounge area which leads through to a hallway offering ample space for coats and shoes and a warm airing cupboard. The bedroom and bathroom with wet room style shower lead off from the hallway. Flooring throughout the apartment is terracotta tiling with deep pile rugs in the bedroom and lounge areas.
The kitchen and dining area
The open plan kitchen / dining / living area benefits from the afternoon sunshine. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge freezer, dishwasher, freestanding electric oven, grill and hob, microwave, electric toaster, electric kettle and Nespresso coffee machine plus an extensive range of crockery, cutlery, general kitchen utensils, pots and pans.
The round oak drop leaf table seats up to 4.
The Lounge
The cosy lounge area overlooks some of the south facing garden areas and benefits from the afternoon sunshine. An HDMI enabled flat screen tv with Sky Freesat plus a Sony bluetooth music centre with CD player & FM radio are provided for your entertainment. Free WIFI is available throughout the apartment.
The bathroom
Accessed from the hallway is the bathroom with its walk-in wet room style shower, WC, wash hand basin and ample shelving. We supply eco-friendly white cotton bath sheets, hand and face towels plus luxurious complimentary toiletries from the Prija range, which is free of parabens, GMS’s, petrolatum and is vegan friendly. Bathrobes and slippers are also provided for adults.
The bedroom
Leading off from the hallway is the bedroom which benefits from the morning sun and has a comfortable double bed with fluffy pillows, a 10.5 tog duvet for the winter months or a 4.5 tog duvet for the warmer summer months, all encased in luxurious 300 thread count cotton bed linen. Bedside drawers with lamps plus a cottage style wardrobe with lower shelving is provided for clothes storage.
